Sorry for beeing so inactive xD,
there is a tutorial I will upload soon about a pair of pretty Jellyfish earrings and some photos. Right now I am a bit stressed since Frankfurt book fair is in a few days and my costume is not finished yet. *sigh* Also I started university a week ago and it´s like... wonderfull wonderland full of what the fuck XD I have to get used to waking early again <-< But I already met many nice people there.

I just wanted to update something here .____. I will try to work more on this blog again.

Back in Germany

Hello there,

I am back from my hollidays with lovely Ellie (Her blog) We had a great time and I really feel better now. I will show you some of the things I brough from her in the next post <3

Before that I had been on an aritstical market where I sold some of our creations from own brand called Raspberrycreations. It made me really happy people were interested in my craftings =D

I even got some comissions.

Deer horns tutorial

I made this pair of deer horns for Ellie (Her Blog) to fit to mine =D now we can run around in partner style when she is here.
Here is a little Tutorial for them:

ich habe gerade dieses paar Hörnchen für Ellie (Her Blog) fertig gemacht, damit wir zusamen im Partnerlook rumrennen können wenn sie hier ist.
Hier mal ein kleines Tutorial für die Hörner:

Required things/Benötigte Materialen:
Scissor/Schere
Fake flowers/künstliche Blumen
PVC
fake pearls/plastik Perlen
Hotglue/Heißkleber
Hairband/Haarreif

Heatgun/Heißluftgebläse

First I cut templates out of paper to adjused the form and size without wasting pvc, than I traced the shapes on the plastic carefully cutting them out. You can use a scissor but acutally the fine edges I sanded a bit to make them look rounder.

Zuerst habe ich die Hörner auf Papier vorgemalt um die größe und Form zu bestimmen ohne auf dem PVC rummalen zu müssen. Dann habe ich die Formen übertragen und ausgeschnitten. Das kann man mit einer Schere machen, ich hab jedoch de rundungen nochmal mit Schleifpapier nachbearbeitet damit sie schöner wirken.

 

I curled the ends of the horns and ears with my heatgun, you can also use a normal hairdryer on high heat it just takes longer till the PVC gets bendable. I also piced out the flowers, leaves and accesoirys I wanted to use and made indikations on the hairband. You can plug in the hotgluegun now so it can heat while you chose decorations.

Ich hab die Enden der Hörner und Ohren mit meinem Heißluftföhn bearbeitet und in Form gebogen. Man kann das sicher auch mit einem Föhn auf höchset Stufe machen, dauert halt nur länger. Zudem hab ich mir schonmal die Blumen, Blätter usw zurechtgelegt und die Heisklebepistole angeschlossen zum aufwärmen.

Following the marks I made on hairband I glued on the horns and ears with hotglue. Make sure they sit correctly (I sorryfully didn´t got them to be in the middle of hairband T_T) Since the inside was a bit messed up I took a piece of rioobon and attached it to the inside so it looks better and the PVC wouldn´t be uncomfy on the skin.

Den Makierungen auf dem Haarreif folgend habe ich dann die Hörner und Ohren aufgeklebt. Leider sind sie bei mir nicht ganz mittig also passt da besser auf als ich. Weil mir die Innenseite nicht gefallen hat habe ich sie einfach schnell mit einem Zierband versteckt >: D hehehe

The last and most comfy part is decorating. I just put randomly flowers leaves and pearls between the horns but make sure to cover the place where horns and headband meet properly. Also I added many leaves on the backside so the hairband was completly hidden from behind. Wait till the glue has dried and remove the strings that form when working with hotglue (they look like tiny spiderwebs. Could be a nice effect for sure but not on that one XD)

Der letze und bequemste Teil ist das dekorieren. Ich habe einfach die Blumen, Blätter und Perlen zufällig auf dem Reif verteilt. Man muss aber gucken, das die übergänge von Horn zu Haarreif bedeckt sind. Zusätzlich habe ich die Rückseite mit kleinen Blättchen dekoriert damit der Haarreif auch von der Hinteransicht nicht zu sehen ist. Dann muss man nurnoch die kleinen Klebefäden entfernen (die tauchen immer beim mir auf und sehen aus wie kleine Spinnenweben. Ist bestimmt ein schöner Effekt aber nicht bei dem Model hier xD)

Et voila, the finished deer hairband =D I have made two by now and I have to say it´s fun. But it requires some training with PVC since that bending part really can be tricky.

Et voila, dar fertige Haarreif =D Ich hab jetzt schon zwei gemacht und must sagen, macht echt Spaß. Nur der Teil mit dem PVC biegen ist ein bisschen kompliziert aber das lern ich auch noch XD

Cosplay problems

Hey there,
since some time I wanted to cosplay a female character since somehow I always end up with the boys xD
Now I have a problem. I can´t decide if I want to do Lady Loki or Bayonetta. Both are awesome and (in my opinion) really hot ;_; I think both would be around the same price for making. *sigh*
Anyways I will upload a tutorial for the cosplay no matter whom I chose.

seit einiger Zeit bin ich jetzt am überlegen ein Weibchen zu cosplayn, irgendwie bleiben bisher die männlichen Charaktere an mir kleben xD
Jetzt habe ich das Problem das ich mich nicht entscheiden kann. Lady Loki oder Bayonatta? Ich finde sie beide genial und (meiner Ansicht nach) echt heiß ;_; Ich denke mal beide werden in der Produktion gleich viel kosten *schnief*
Auf jedenfall werde ich zu dem Cosplay (welches auch immer ich mache) ein Tutorial auf dem Blog hier hochladen.

Yunga

A litte ink sketch I did of my atztec character called Yunga. He is a hunter that usually lives in the forest but from time to time comes to temple in city.

Ein kleiner Tuschesketch von meinem atzteken Charakter Yunga. Normalerweise lebt er als Jäger im Dschungel und kommt eher selten in den Tempel in der Stadt.

Cold Porcelain

Hi =D,
I just tried a new recipe for cold porcelain and this time it worked out very well. The last time I sorryfully overcooked my clay so it got all hard and squishy and totaly stupid to work with. This time I think I cooked it a bit to less so I added more cream to make it more smooth. I made roses as trial and some buttons for my dear friend http://raspberrysquid.blogspot.de/ so she can put them on her books.
The recepie I used was:
1 cup of glue (could be white glue or transparent one)
1 cup of conrstarch
2 tablespoons of baby oil
1 tablespoon of lemon juice
a bit of wood glue

Everything mixed together and cooked on stove for 5-8 minutes on low to mid heat. I cooked till is started to form a dough like strukture but i think best is to cook a tiny bit longer till it stops sticking so much. Than I took body lotion without artificial aroma or colour spread it over my hands and kneded till I had a uniform doughball. Don´t add to much creme though it starts to crack while drying. Than I just coloured it with acrylic paint. If you use transparent glue you get translucent clay. Either just use that pot you cook it in just for crafting or was it REALLY well, in the end there was glue in it.

gerade hab ich mal mein neustes Cold Porcelain Rezept ausprobiert. (Für die die es nicht kennen, das ist eine sehr weiche Modeliermasse die man auch selber machen kann. Lufttrocknen, nicht giftig und wird Steinhart). Das letze mal hab ich sie leider zu lange gekocht was dazu führte das es eher an Gummi erinnerte als an Knete. Diesmal war es glaube ich ein bisschen zu kurz aber ich hab lieber ein bisschen klebrige Knete als die gesamten Materialien dann wieder wegzuschmeißen. Ich habe ein paar Rosen gemacht als Test und Knöpfchen für http://raspberrysquid.blogspot.de/ zum dekorieren der Bücher.
Mein Rezept ist:
1 cup Maisstärke (ich hab mir diese Löffel gekauft mit denen man Cup abmessen kann, die Umrechnung kenne ich leider nicht)
1 cup Kleber (weißer oder durchsichtiger Kleber ist egal)
2 Esslöffel Babyöl
1 Esslöffel  Zitronensaft
Einen Schuss Holzleim

Alles zusammen verührt wird dann für ca. 5-8 Minuten gekocht bis alles zusammen hält und an Knetmasse erinnert. Das ganze wird dann mit Creme oder Bodylotion verknetet. Die Lotion sollte aber möglichst ohne Aromen oder Farbstoffe sein. Zu viel Creme würde jedoch später dazu führen das die gebastelten Sachen Risse bekommen. Farbig bekommt man es dann einfach mit ein bisschen Acrylfarbe oder Lebensmittelfarbe.
Der Topf sollte entweder nur für Basteleien benutz werden oder SEHR gut gewaschen werden. Immerhin war darin Kleber.
